Fitness is about the whole life
Fitness refers to being physically healthy and strong, encompassing various aspects of physical performance and well-being. Cardiovascular endurance is a key component, reflecting the heart, lungs, and circulatory system's ability to supply oxygen and nutrients efficiently to muscles during activities like running or swimming. Muscular strength, another essential element, is about the maximum force muscles can generate, crucial for daily tasks and sports.
Muscular endurance is the ability of muscles to maintain repeated contractions or apply continuous force, important for prolonged activities such as cycling. Flexibility, which is the range of motion around a joint, improves performance and reduces injury risks by allowing fuller joint movement. Body composition, involving the proportion of muscle, fat, bone, and other parts, indicates overall health, with a healthier balance meaning more fat-free mass compared to fat.
Balance and coordination are also vital, helping maintain control and smooth movements of the body.
