How to Use This HIIT Timer
This HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) Timer lets you customize and run a structured interval workout with alternating work and rest periods.
Step-by-Step:
- Enter the Number of Intervals – Each interval consists of one work phase followed by one rest phase. If you enter “5,” you’ll go through 5 total work sessions, each followed by rest.
- Enter Work Time – This is the number of seconds you’ll be active (e.g., sprinting, jumping, squatting, etc.).
- Enter Rest Time – This is the number of seconds you’ll rest or recover between work phases.
- Click “Start HIIT Timer” – The timer will begin your first work phase and count down visually.
What You'll See:
- Timer: The countdown for each phase appears large at the top.
- Session: You’ll see what round you're on (e.g., “Session: 2/5”).
- Phase: “Work” (green) or “Rest” (red) shows which part of the interval you’re in.
Controls:
- Stop: Pauses the timer at any point.
- Reset: Clears all current progress and allows you to enter new values and start again.
Note: When you reach the final round, the timer will display “TIME’S UP” in red to signal the workout is complete.
This tool is great for cardio bursts, resistance circuits, bodyweight training, or sprint workouts. Adjust intervals based on your fitness level and training goals.
