Calculate Calories Burned

What Are METs?

MET stands for Metabolic Equivalent of Task. It's a simple way to estimate how much energy your body uses during physical activity. One MET equals the energy your body uses at rest (sitting still). So, an activity with a MET value of 4 means you're expending four times the energy compared to resting.

How Are Calories Calculated?

The formula used is: Calories Burned = MET × Weight (kg) × Time (hours). This gives you an estimate of the calories burned based on your body weight, activity intensity, and duration.
